FREE Concert by the U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West
As part of our month-long celebration honoring the 20th Anniversary of the Reagan Library’s Air Force One Pavilion, please join us for a FREE concert in the Reagan Library’s main courtyard by the U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West. Their mission is to honor our nation and those who have served by enhancing the reputation of the United States and Air Force through musical excellence. The band is from the San Francisco Bay area at Travis Air Force Base, in California. They are one of the only active-duty Air Force bands west of the Rockies. They perform for civilian communities throughout the states and many military bases. They use music to bridge language, cultural, societal, and socio-economic differences, while fostering morale the spirit of the United States.
Admission into the Reagan Library is not included. If you would like to tour, the museum closes at 5:00 p.m. and an admission ticket would need to be purchased upon arrival. The exhibition closes at 5:00 p.m. every day. Cowboys: History & Hollywood takes visitors on a journey through the reality and the cinematic allure of the American cowboy—an enduring symbol of strength, self-reliance, and freedom. Blending true Western history with Hollywood mythmaking, the exhibition features authentic gear, rare photographs, historic artifacts, and memorabilia from classic Western films that shaped the cowboy image we know today.
