VUB Graduation Ceremonies 2025 Live

Van 6 tot 8 oktober 2025 organiseert de Stad Brussel, in nauwe samenwerking met de VUB en de ULB, de afstudeerceremonies voor de studenten van beide universiteiten. De plechtigheden vinden plaats op de Grote Markt en in het Brusselse stadhuis – een unieke locatie voor een onvergetelijk moment.

Tijdens deze driedaagse worden de afgestudeerden van de klas van 2025 feestelijk gehuldigd, samen met hun familie, vrienden en geliefden. Het traditionele balkonmoment aan het stadhuis vormt het hoogtepunt: meer dan 2200 afgestudeerden worden daar symbolisch toegesproken en gevierd.

From 6 to 8 October 2025, the City of Brussels, in close collaboration with VUB and ULB, will host the graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2025. The ceremonies will take place on the iconic Grand Place and inside the Brussels Town Hall – a truly exceptional setting for a once-in-a-lifetime moment.

Over the course of these three days, graduates will be honoured in the presence of their families, friends, and loved ones. The highlight? The traditional moment on the Town Hall balcony, where over 2,200 graduates will be symbolically addressed and applauded.
